About Course

The Basic Skills in Event Operations Program aims to equip new employees with the minimum common competencies required to work in an organized and safe manner at event sites. This includes understanding the operational work cycle, following instructions and authority limits, maintaining professional communication, gaining an initial awareness of risks, practicing safe manual handling, supporting basic operations, and responding to incidents and emergencies in an organized manner.

The program serves as a prerequisite for enrollment in specialized programs. It has been designed to accommodate differences in prior experience and educational backgrounds without lowering performance or safety standards.

This edition also includes a dedicated module that introduces trainees to the six specialized pathways available after completing the program, ensuring that trainees leave the foundational program with a clear understanding of the specialized pathway that best aligns with their interests and capabilities.
